Halloween came a little early to New York City when the Big Apple Comicon had special guests Cassandra Peterson who is better known as Elvira and George Romero, legendary director of Night of the Living Dead and its sequels. The autograph section of the Big Apple Comicon was decorated with a horror theme to commemorate their guests which also included Eugene Clark, who played the "lead zombie" in Land of the Dead and scream queen Debbie Rochon. The BAC also had other actors and stars such as Peter Mayhew, better known as Chewbacca and former porn star and wrestler Jasmin St. Clair.

The Big Apple Comicon is not just a place where one can meet their favorite actor or actress. A great number of vendors were available so that fans of any genre, whether it's new school or golden age, there were sellers there that can accomodate you.
