Harry
Potter and the Goblet of Fire:
Movie and Book Comparison By Karla W.
My astrological sign is Gemini. That's good because
I have two opinions about this movie. What both sides agree on is that in
this film, the cast, especially Daniel Radcliff, is amazing. They are so believable,
that I'm sure if he wanted to, Daniel could cast a spell. The special effects
are brilliant.
Opinion 1: I have accepted the world
of Harry Potter brought to life by the Almighty Church of Warner Brothers.
Thank you. You have given me my happy journey into the world of magic. Thank
you. I do not question your logic or ask questions. More please. I will see
the movie as many times as my retinas can take. I will buy the DVD that will
come out 2 months before the Special Release Deleted Scenes Bonus Interview
7 disc DVD for $99.66 to be released by Warner Home Video just in time for
the holidays. Thank you. I await for the next historical document. Amen.
Opinion 2: WHAT THE F%*K! I understand
that the book is over 700 pages. I get it you have to shorten it to fit the
time limit. I get it. The other 3 movies did just fine keeping the integrity
of the storyline. They should have stopped there. This book is too important
to the storyline to be COMPLETELY rewritten by Warner Brothers for their grubby
hands! It's all wrong. They totally missed the point. This book is the dive
into the downward spiral of the Wizarding World.
The last line of the movie is Hermione asking Harry
"It's all going to change now....isn't it?" Harry slightly grins,
"yes. it is...." YOUR DAM SKIPPY IT IS BITCH! IT'S FREAKING ARMAGEDDON
FROM HERE ON OUT! I was with my 13 year old nephew who refuses to read these
books, he has no clue how serious these next movies should be. BECAUSE IT
WASN'T CONVEYED! IT WAS MOVIE MAGIC! When I read the book, and the end came,
I was crying and had an anxiety attack. In this movie, I was like "oh
well" I didn't care because they were too busy trying to entertain me.
I should have walked out depressed and anxious because from this book on that's
exactly how J.K. Rowling has written it.
They sacrificed the integrity of the best story for
the sake of $$$$. I don't blame the director or the cast. I blame the Church
of Warner Brothers. I think they should end it here, because they cant do
this to the other two books, it just wont work. Owww, my scar hurts....or
maybe it's my ass...... Thank You
